CMI has strategically invested in lean, innovative, 6S workstations throughout our production lines to drive consistency and reliability and enable our technical team to focus on the more complex and cognitive aspects of the manufacturing process. Each manufacturing cell, in an automated set-up, performs its own specific operation or series of operations. The complexity of the processes can vary widely based on design requirements, but ultimately, each workpiece can move through partial or complete steps of an automated system until finished.
